LUCID Lighting has developed a range of modules that communicate with LUCID dimmer systems via the LUCID Hy-Net protocol. The modules can be mounted to any manufacturer’s decorative plates, so customers can match their existing plates. LUCID also offers custom-designed plates, providing a truly flexible system.
Control plates are available in standard single (88x88mm) or double (146x88mm) sizes to fit a standard 35mm deep back-box, and with 4, 8, 12 or 16 buttons. There is a choice of blue, red or green LEDs.
LUCID has been careful to ensure ease of use. Individual circuits can be assigned a control button. A short press turns that circuit on and off at the last stored level. Press and hold the button to ramp the level up and down.
Once all the lamps in a room are set to the desired level, that group of settings can be saved as a scene, simply by holding one of the illuminated scene buttons for three seconds until the LED stops flashing. A short press on the scene button will recall that scene and set all the lamps to the stored levels. Save different scenes for e.g. reading, television, dining, etc. Each scene button has an LED which will illuminate to indicate the selected scene.

Programmable control plate options
The flexibility of the LUCID system allows many control options to be selected. Most can be programmed into standard button plates, but we can also provide rocker switches and rotary switches.
Scene memory/recall
Store and recall combinations of preset lighting levels.
Raise/lower
Individual lighting circuit raise/lower.
Global
Switches off/on the last scene used in every room.
Master
Switches all last circuits used to full on/off.
Panic
Brings all circuits to maximum.
Momentary
Push on, push off, hold to dim lighting circuit.
Toggle
Press and release to toggle through each scene.
Scene Timer
Circuit switches off after a set time.
Scene Sequencer
Lights cycle through stored scenes
Rotary
Single channel, clockwise or anti-clockwise raise/lower, On/Off.
Retractive
Push once for On, again for Off, hold to raise/lower.
Control Plate Specials
Our button plates are normally fitted with blue LEDs and elliptical switches, but you can request different colours (red/yellow/green/white) and switches (small or large halo).
